The trucks on the Indian roads are no less than drivable canvases painted with innumerable designs and messages. Thanks to the famous Indian monuments brilliantly brushed on the sides of these vehicles to stickers of traditional Indian sayings pasted on the back, that travelling long routes on highways here is not boring at all.
Sakhi-Bekis : The Girlfriends of Krishna
The Sakhi Bekhi is one of the most interesting tribes of India. They are prominent throughout Bengal, Orrisa and Uttar Pradesh. Members of this tribe typically dress up as women to portray their identity as the girlfriends or Sakhis of Lord Krishna.
